...as someone whose rights he has curtailed, liberties he has assaulted and existence he has called into question, I have to stand firmly in the "do not agree" camp. Not particularly brave to go after vulnerable groups.

I feel there has to be a pushback included with accepting of personal liberties.

Humans are a pack animal, there is a shared local consciousness.

I feel there is a danger of youngsters having life changing operations that are ill advised.

And what operations are those? Because if you mean the ones I believe you're referring to then you're being misled, because those operations are frankly not happening under the age of 18. To force kids, or anyone, to stop being themselves in order to bow down to ignorance and a lack of understanding of something is a curtailing of life and liberty. So I would ask anyone that has an opinion on trans rights to actually learn things about trans people first. Not just second-hand junk science and ignorance because they don't like it.

As I'm getting involved and heated in this topic and it's going to cause some debate. I'm going to withdraw myself from it.
