I’ll talk about this here as this is a private section away from google. My brother is 3 years older than me. For the past 8ish years he’s been disabled. He had two strokes.. he is now bedridden and has 24 hour live in carers. He can feed himself..just..and thats it. About a month ago I had a health scare…I REALLY needed my brother and my dad… 🥺🥺

Dad is in a care home..vascular dementia and Parkinson’s disease. I know that when I visit him..as soon as I leave..he’ll forget I was ever there…🥺🥺

I am so sorry about your brother and dad. Sounds very tough on you and your family. Was your brother in good health before he the strokes?

That does sound challenging to navigate, especially as immediate family are often the support system. Being a carer or seeing someone you love decline isn’t easy emotionally and it takes a lot of strength to keep going sometimes. Even letting it out and acknowledging those feelings can feel so good.
