Experiencing your first panic attack can be really frightening and confusing. You might not know what’s happening to your body or why it’s happening. This thread is for anyone who has had a first panic attack and wants to understand it better.

Feel free to share your experience, or seek advice on what to do next. Learning about panic attacks can help reduce fear and give you tools to manage future episodes.

Did your first panic attack come out of nowhere? How did you cope?

Do you have any support at all? I am sorry that you have panic attacks. I have the odd one but not as often as yourself.

I do have anxiety and fear, I do isolate a lot. I also have the odd panic attack.

We're all here to support each other. We might not have all the answers as we have MH issues too but it will help not being so alone.
