Welcome to the Current Events section. This space is for discussing news, world events, and how they affect us personally and emotionally.

Please keep these guidelines in mind when posting:

Be respectful
Everyone has different views and experiences. Disagreeing is okay — being unkind is not.

Avoid personal attacks
Focus on ideas and feelings, not individuals.

Use content warnings when needed
If your post includes sensitive topics (violence, trauma, etc.), please write CW: [topic] at the top.

Stay mindful of tone
This is a mental health space — try to post with care, especially when topics are heavy.

Take breaks if needed
It’s okay to step back from difficult news. Your wellbeing comes first.

No hate speech or conspiracy theories
Posts that spread harmful content will be removed.
