  • @Angela @Lavender Catch up Monday and as usual catching up on chores I didn't do yesterday. Loads of laundry went into the dryer and the rain poured down most of the day. So fed up of it, but hey ho.

  • That's good that your blood sugars are okay. Was raining here too this morning and then the sun was out, Hope that you're having a nice week. Hi @Emerald Glad the hospice shop went well. I kept think

  • It certainly is good to be back. Hi @Emerald Tell me about it, I am sat here with my dressing gown on. I think we will have a cold winter this year. Remarkable that you volunteer for the Samaritans,

@Lavender @Angela it feels like the middle of winter here, cold and heavy showers of rain. The Samaritan conference was good and educational as well. Off to the hospice shop soon and looking forward to some chatter and laughter with customers. Have a wonderful Saturday.

@Lavender thank you, I always enjoy the hospice shop. It's a wet old day again and just going to start my baking for Mark, gluten free, as it's so expensive to buy. Enjoyed a walk with Sheeba earlier and just got home in time before the heavens opened and down came the rain. Autumn is truly upon us and some days it feels like the depths of winter.
Happy Sunday!

I'm at a friend's house. Her and her daughter are going to the hospital for my surgery and my friend is going to spend the night with me. So glad she's going to do as I hate being in the hospital by myself

That is good to hear, I wouldn't like being in my own either.

Hi @Emerald

Yep, it is the same here, my daughter said it is really cold out, her hands were freezing, she put her hands on my neck lol

Have a lovely Sunday.

Hello Lavender and everyone, Have a good day.

The plumber came yesterday just as i was having dinner but i was greatful to see him . He said he does emergency call outs and because he could not make it on Saturday he came yesterday.

He was very nice and listened to what i had to say then lifted the floor boards in the back bedroom where i could hear the dripipng but everywhere was dry. He said because have a condenser boiler that would of been condensation in the pipe and he also put the pressure up on my boiler so maybe that wil help to get rid of the noise of dripping .

My original plumber was not going to come until Wednesday so i texted him back and said i was sorry but i had to get someone else and he never answered me back so i think i will just go with the chap that came yesterday now if i don't hear anymore from my original plumber.

Hi @Joan

Hopefully it will be sorted for you on Wednesday and nothing worse than listening to the sound of dripping.

Let's know when you get it all sorted.
