  1. I had a mole removed when I was in my early 20s from my arm. They gave me local and cut it out. No regrets. I also had a tooth extracted two ish years ago. Never been knocked out though.
  2. I don’t really get what these are so I went with golden voice.
  3. You know what - I am on the fence about it too. I am leaning towards no but I am not a completely no because of haunted experiences in certain places.
  4. Recently I have started thinking that I have checking OCD and real events OCD. A lot to unpack and get into as to why but intrusive thoughts are exhausting and make you second guess, triple guess etc. I definitely reassurance seek a lot. Thanks for sharing.
  5. No Lavender?
  6. Not the cinema. Need to be able to talk. Preferably not a deal only - maybe an activity.
  7. I kept all my DS games as a kid. Some of my Barbies too. Not worth getting rid of them.
  8. Drake
  9. Pretty good. -0.25 in each eye.
  10. Yes, I was playing a videogame and someone called me a good player.
  11. No contact with the person. Break that attachment and get them out of your daily routine until you’ve healed at least.
  12. Yes. I took part in a virtual reality research study where I had to do an art piece about something that was impactful that happened to me. It was presented at conferences. I was a participant. I have also played VR games like Beatsaber. It can make you feel sick but it’s fun.
  13. Welcome. I don’t think we’ve met before. Hope your surgery recovery is smooth. :)
  14. Not fussed but medium rare is my go to.
  15. Information there is pretty much correct. Voluntary service users tend to be referred to as ‘informal’ but as you said, they put themselves forward to be there rather than go under the Act. Sometimes this happens if someone knows they are going to be sectioned. They’re still entitled to a tribunal though if they want to appeal it. There are also sections under MHA with the Ministry of Justice. Usually Section 37/41, I think. It can make it more complicated to get stuff like section 17 (leave when you go out for the day or overnight) more complicated as it has to go through the MoJ too. Takes times but these are people who have a forensic background. Sometimes stuff will go under Deprivation of Liberty too which is a bit different but yeah.
  16. Thankfully I’ve never gotten into smoking myself. A few of my friends vape though where it originally started out as smoking cigarettes. I have an addictive personality so I would definitely get caught up in it if I did.
  17. What have you personally found rewarding about being queer? I would say the people that you meet. You get exposed to a whole crowd of people who you may not encounter otherwise. The celebrations, the love etc.
  18. I don’t but I will hang them up a certain way when they dry so they’re not creased. My mum used to iron my work clothes for me though.
  19. Hey there and welcome. Hope you like this place. :)
