  7. The BBC has released first look photos teasing Zoe Slater’s (Michelle Ryan) emotional reunion with Big Mo Harris (Laila Morse) next week as she makes her explosive return. Zoe briefly made an appearance in the Square back in June after two decades away. But when Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) tried to get her to reconnect with her estranged mother Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace), she scarpered out of a window and fled to Barcelona. However, next week on the BBC soap, Zoe’s little brother Tommy (Sonny Kendall) manages to track her down and bring her home. As the week begins, Tommy is missing following an argument with Kat, and she and Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) frantically search for him. As the hunt continues, the pair fear Tommy may be gone for good. Michelle Ryan as Zoe Slater and Laila Morse as Big Mo Harris. BBC/Jack Barns/Kieron McCarron Kat’s overcome with relief when she gets a message from Tommy telling her he’s outside, but it’s not just one child she’s reunited with as she rushes out to meet him, it's two. Standing there is also her estranged daughter Kat. Kat might be stunned to see her daughter, but it looks like Zoe gets a much warmer welcome from her great grandmother Big Mo Harris, as first-look photos show the pair sharing a hug in the hallway of the Queen Vic. More information soon comes to light about Zoe’s life since she’s been away, but what is her big secret and how will Kat react? When Zoe last was seen on the Square back in June, it soon became apparent that she had fallen on hard times, as she told cousin Stacey and stepfather Alfie that she was on the run from Spanish loansharks, only for it to emerge that she was lying about her situation. Before fleeing to Barcelona, she told Stacey and Alfie on the phone that she'd done something "so bad" that her family would disown her. View full article
  8. A Coronation Street Webster member is set to make her return to the cobbles, but there's a surprising development on the horizon. Brooke rose to stardom portraying Kevin (Michael Le Vell) and Sally Webster's (Sally Dynevor) second daughter, Sophie, first appearing on screens back in 2004. Alongside elder sister Rosie (Helen Flanagan), it's safe to say the pair swiftly became beloved characters amongst audiences and featured in numerous major plot lines. iewers will remember that Sophie chose to depart Weatherfield for a travelling adventure after inheriting funds from her Aunty Vi. In her farewell scene, she was shown departing in a cab following emotional goodbyes to her family and friends. Since her exit, the character hasn't appeared on screen - though she's been referenced on multiple occasions. Just last week, Kevin jetted off on a break following his cancer ordeal to spend time with Sophie. She was last seen in 2019 (Image: ITV) More recently, actress Sophie captured a photograph with an admirer, and she seemed to be close to the Corrie studios in Salford, Manchester. On a Coronation Street Facebook enthusiast group, one fan shared the image, commenting it was "great to catch up with" the Sophie Webster actress Brooke. The upload instantly triggered rumours amongst supporters that Brooke had returned to film scenes for the programme. One enthusiast pondered: "Is Brooke coming back to Corrie?" whilst another questioned: "Is Sophie coming back to Corrie." However, the user who posted the photo clarified: "Doing podcast with Emmerdale's Danny Miller," seemingly referring to the soap podcast, Off Script... Coronation Street and Emmerdale, hosted by Emmerdale's Kelvin Fletcher, who portrayed Andy Sugden. On the podcast, Kelvin engages in conversation with soap stars from both Emmerdale and Coronation Street. Previous guests include Danny Miller, Sam Aston, Nicola Wheeler and Vicky Myers.
