  13. Abi Webster (Sally Carman) and Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard)’s secret affair in Coronation Street didn’t remain a secret for very long – with possibly the worst person discovering what they were up to. Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) – who’d set her sights on Carl herself – was suspicious when he rejected her, saying he was in love with someone else. It didn’t take her long to jump to the conclusion that he was talking about Abi. Although he denied it, Tracy got the confirmation she needed when she peeped through the kitchen window of number 13 and spotted Carl and Abi kissing. Tracy’s currently going through her divorce to Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) and solicitors aren’t cheap, so she turned this discovery into a money-making opportunity by confronting the couple and asking for £10k in exchange for her silence. Abi tried to appeal to Tracy’s better nature (she allegedly does have one) by telling her that the last thing she wanted to do was hurt Kevin (Michael Le Vell). Tracy told Abi that she wanted money for her silence (Picture: ITV) Debbie leaps in to defend her brother (Picture: ITV) Tracy did have some sympathy with the idea of falling for an exciting new man when your current one is a bit dull – she’s just been through that with Tommy Orpington (Matt Milburn) – but she told Abi she really needed the money so she wouldn’t be dropping her demand for the cash. Coming up, Abi heads for Mallorca to join Kevin and the boys on their family holiday, reassuring Carl that there’ll be sun, sea, but no sex with Kevin while she’s away. Once she’s out of the way, Tracy tries once again to lure Carl into bed – this time with her phone set to record as she clearly wants to be sure he pays up. Tracy’s scheming seems to be going well and has certainly got Carl flustered, as he looks for ways to raise the cash by going back to stealing cars with the help of Brody (Ryan Mulvey). 14. Aaron and John are currently on holiday from the village. They’ve been staying in a little cottage which is even decorated with dolls to, you know, really give that cosy and welcoming vibe. Up until today, things were going pretty great for Aaron. He was enjoying time away from family drama, and even asked John yesterday if they should consider moving away from there permanently. Aaron put forward the idea of buying the place they were staying in. John seemed reluctant to investigate whether this was a possibility, but said he would to please his partner. John was seen on the phone but as he got off the device, we discovered he wasn’t even on a call. He told Aaron that the landlord wasn’t particularly interested in selling up. They’re not staying in a holiday cottage at all (Picture: ITV) John’s behaviour is becoming more and more out of control (Picture: ITV) The first discovery Aaron made as his morning began was from a neighbour called Marge. She commented on how it was nice to see people in the house, as it’s been empty for a little while. When topic of conversation turned to buying the property, Marge confirmed the owner of the house actually died a year ago. Troubled, Aaron then wandered back to the door he found yesterday. He picked the lock and was able to get inside. To his shock, he found a child’s bed, medals displayed and a framed newspaper insert of a young lad saving a dog. By this point, John had returned from yet another trip into the woodland nearby. Aaron confronted him about lying – they weren’t in a holiday cottage at all, they were staying in John’s childhood home. View full article
  15. 1. Susan's future at Eirini Rising is confirmedNeighbours legend Susan Kennedy faces a life-changing decision next week after discovering there's a shock plan to axe her from Eirini Rising. Susan must choose whether to step aside for the greater good of the business after some important discussions take place behind her back In upcoming scenes, Colton Keys returns to Erinsborough for a secret meeting with Susan's business partner Terese Willis. Now representing the Sunset Retirement Group, Colton reveals that his bosses want to buy Eirini Rising – but a strict condition in the takeover agreement would see Susan lose her job. Prime Video / FremantleMedia Australia "Susan finds out what's going on when Elle Robinson lets the news slip after eavesdropping on Terese," our Neighbours insider explains. "Susan goes straight to Terese to find out whether it's true. "Clearly on the back foot, Terese verifies Colton's demand but makes it clear that she has no intention of selling to the Sunset Group." Susan isn't reassured for long, however, as she starts to wonder whether it'd be best for everyone if she stepped aside. She urges Terese to give Colton's offer some serious consideration rather than hastily dismissing it. Later, Susan regrets her generous words as the tough reality dawns on her. She's not ready to retire again after her previous experience saying goodbye to Erinsborough High before she was ready. "Toadie, who's back in town for a visit, soon steps in and urges Susan to be more honest with Terese," our source adds. "The two friends finally realise that they're better off sticking together as a dream team to turn around the fortunes of Eirini Rising, but can they manage it?" 2. Terese and Elle thrash out their differences Prime Video / FremantleMedia Australia Terese is livid when she finds out that Elle stirred up trouble by telling Susan that her job was at risk. Elle hides her true intentions by claiming that she overheard Terese talking to Paul about Colton's offer and presumed it was common knowledge. Although Terese doesn't believe a word of it, she suggests to Elle that they should call a truce for Paul's sake. Elle agrees, but is it a promise she can stick to? 3.
