  4. The fleur-de-lis best represents you. What do my results mean? The fleur-de-lis is a symbol with 3 leaves bundled together, with the central one pointing straight up, and the left and right ones curving in their respective directions. Rooted deeply in French culture and history, this symbol represents royalty—and we bet you can relate to that. While you probably aren’t an actual member of royalty, we bet that you carry yourself with the confidence and strength of someone taking the throne. You know your worth, just as you know your beliefs—and you won’t compromise who you are for anyone.
  5. Hollyoaks spoilers follow for Tuesday’s (September 3) episode that is now available to view on Channel 4 streaming. The episode in question will air on E4 on at 7pm. Charlie Dean (Charlie Behan) staged an unexpected return to Hollyoaks, with the final scene of the latest episode seemingly confirming him to be Morgan’s kidnapper. The popular character, as viewers know, was last seen late last year when he made a number of sporadic appearances as part of a storyline that saw mainstay Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson) go missing. It turned out that Darren had been staying with Charlie at his uni accommodation. The Osbornes have been central to the show over the past few months following Frankie’s (Isabelle Smith) grooming ordeal at the hands of Grace Black (Tamara Wall) and Rex Gallagher (Jonny Labey). Tragedy stuck earlier this week when Morgan disappeared. Frankie had been tasked with looking after her little sister but, after following Jacob (Ethaniel Davy) to the shop with his wallet, she returned to Basswood Road to find the place in a state with no trace of Morgan, who had been kidnapped. Nancy (Jessica Fox) was devastated by what transpired, as was Darren, who was adamant that Clare Devine (Gemma Bissix) was somehow involved in the crime, prompting him to take her prisoner in a shipping container in the hopes of getting to the bottom of what happened to his daughter. Clare, however, professed her innocence. Back home, Nancy received a text message – presumably from the blackmailer – who demanded a large sum of cash in exchange for Morgan’s safe return, urging her to keep the police out of the matter. As to whether or not Nancy and Darren agree to such terms remains to be seen but the episode concluded with Charlie in the company of missing Morgan, implying that he was the one who took her. Just what is Charlie up to? And why has he put his loved ones through such an ordeal? Charlie Behan, who played the character between 2011 and 2024, reprised his role for the scenes in question, but just how long is Charlie back on our screens for? And how will Nancy and Darren react when they find out the truth? That remains to be seen but next week Frankie receives a message from Charlie. Will she work what has transpired? View full article

  7. Anxiety vs. Everyday StressFeeling anxious before a test, job interview, or big decision is normal. Anxiety becomes a problem when it’s persistent, overwhelming, and interferes with daily life. Unlike short-term stress, chronic anxiety lingers even when there’s no clear reason for it. How Anxiety ManifestsAnxiety isn’t just “in your head.” It affects the body and mind. Symptoms may include: Racing thoughts and constant worry. Difficulty concentrating. Physical tension, headaches, or stomach upset. Rapid heartbeat, shortness of breath, or dizziness. Trouble sleeping or feeling constantly restless. These symptoms can be frightening, but understanding them is the first step toward managing them. The Root CausesAnxiety can be triggered by many factors, including: Biological predisposition: Family history can increase risk. Environmental stressors: Work, finances, or relationship struggles. Trauma or loss: Past experiences can create long-lasting patterns of worry. Lifestyle factors: Excess caffeine, lack of sleep, or poor diet can intensify symptoms. Often, it’s a combination of these elements rather than a single cause. Coping Strategies That HelpManaging anxiety requires a toolkit of approaches: Mindfulness practices like meditation and deep breathing. Physical activity to release built-up tension and improve mood. Limiting stimulants such as caffeine and alcohol. Journaling to externalise worries and spot patterns. Therapy (especially CBT), which teaches how to challenge anxious thoughts. Medication in cases where anxiety significantly impacts daily functioning. Why Speaking Up MattersOne of the hardest parts of anxiety is the feeling of being alone. Talking to someone whether it’s a friend, therapist, or support group breaks the isolation. Sharing your experience can reduce its intensity and remind you that anxiety is a treatable condition, not a personal flaw. Anxiety may feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to control your life. With the right strategies and support, people can and do reclaim calm, clarity, and confidence View full article
  8. Breaking the Myths Around TherapyFor years, therapy has carried an undeserved stigma. Many people picture a couch, a notepad, and long sessions of revisiting childhood memories. Others think therapy is “only for people who are broken” or in crisis. The truth is far different: therapy is for anyone who wants to better understand themselves, improve relationships, and manage life’s challenges. Just as we don’t wait for a broken bone to heal on its own, we shouldn’t expect mental health struggles to disappear without care. Therapy provides a space to process experiences, gain perspective, and develop tools for resilience. Why Talking WorksOur brains are complex. When emotions build up without expression, they often show up in physical ways like tension headaches, fatigue, or insomnia. Talking to a trained professional helps untangle these emotions. Through conversation, we: Identify patterns in our thoughts and behaviors. Learn coping strategies to reduce stress and anxiety. Gain clarity on decisions and relationships. Feel supported in a safe, judgment-free environment. The act of speaking thoughts out loud can be transformative. Many clients describe a “weight lifted” simply by being heard. Different Types of TherapyTherapy isn’t one size fits all. Some common approaches include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns. Psychodynamic Therapy: Explores past experiences and unconscious processes. Humanistic Therapy: Encourages self-exploration and personal growth. Group Therapy: Builds support networks by sharing experiences with others. Each method has unique benefits, and sometimes therapists blend techniques to meet a client’s needs. The Courage to Seek HelpSeeking therapy is not a sign of weakness it’s an act of courage. It shows self-awareness and a commitment to growth. More and more people are openly sharing their therapy experiences, helping normalise the idea that caring for your mental health is as vital as caring for your physical health. Life will always have challenges, but therapy equips us with tools to face them. It’s not about “fixing” who we are it’s about nurturing who we want to become. View full article
