Yep. I don't think we ever get over it. It might hurt less but we still miss them. Yeah I think we all have our favourite. My cat was my world and I felt sorry for my daughter whom has Autism, she is still heartbroken. I know exactly how you feel. My cat has been gone 2 years and still can't get another one. I don't think we will ever get another cat like him. he was very placid, calm and so loving. his purr used to be so calming.
