As you might have noticed I have removed some of the mental health forums. I have moved some topics to the mental health discussions. Added Medications, relationships and blogs and journals. Will post in this thread for any changes we make 🙂

Is viewable to guests… a lot of the topics here are very sensitive in nature..I feel that a lot more should be closed off… the general chat section is ok to view…but the fact that guests can see a lot of the more personal sections is off putting.. I’m not comfortable with my more personal thoughts being viewable to the rest of the world.. I’m not saying everything has to be under lock and key…just maybe the more sensitive sections could be closed off for guests? I’m NOT criticising btw…just a suggestion. On my forum I have a pw protected area for more personal thoughts that google cant see..

@Lavender How about a sub forum under Mental Health Discussions for the aging? Call it Mental Health & Aging. The effects of dementia and Alzheimer's can badly affct not only those struggling but family, Friends and caretakers. Also, aging and getting older can affect anyone's mental health.

Hi everyone I have altered the setting in mental health section and health section that you can now start topics anonymously if you wish. I think it will be great and a lot safer for all members. If this is something you wish to do then here is how you do it. create topic and then see will see the option if you want to post anonymously, just click then submit your topic 😉

I was wondering how everyone would feel if we had a forum for the disabled and the effects of mental health on the disabled and vice versa?

Hey everyone. We will be upgrading the forum sometime today (hopefully) what this means is the software will be a little different. we will have blogs and also pages. I am actually quite excited about it and I hope you all will be too 🙂 @SpilledIt will be doing it soon if not will be later tonight.
