  8. Coronation Street has revealed a huge new clue about newcomer Ollie, teasing a link to Toyah Battersby. Ollie joined the soap back in August when he was introduced as Dee-Dee Bailey's latest love interest after Adam Barlow took him on as a new client at the firm. While Ollie, who was involved in a dangerous driving case, insisted to Dee-Dee that he wasn't guilty, fans have remained suspicious over his motives, wondering what he is really doing on the cobbles. Since his arrival, things have been heating up between Ollie and Dee-Dee despite the fact that he is one of her clients. In today's episode, the soap dropped another subtle clue about Ollie, who was seen taking a keen interest in another resident of Weatherfield. When Dee-Dee and Ollie joined Adam and Alya for lunch at the Bistro, Ollie criticised the food, saying it was "a little heavy on the truffle oil". An embarrassed Dee–Dee tried to diffuse the situation, saying: "It's just lunch isn't it? I mean, who cares?" Ollie replied: "Actually I do. No excuse for serving substandard food. Not that I'm saying this was substandard or anything." When Alya asked Toyah for a coffee, Ollie clocked her name with interest, saying: "That's an unusual name." The meal over, Ollie tried to apologise, but Dee-Dee called him "rude" and "obnoxious", saying she'd seen a different side to him. Ollie then took a suspicious call, where he promised to do some digging. Looking over at Toyah, he said: "I'll find out what I can. Do a bit of digging." What is Ollie trying to find out, and what is his link to Toyah? ITV Previously speaking about her character's new love interest, Dee-Dee star Channique Sterling-Brown told Digital Spy to expect some twists and turns She said: "The viewers will be very suspicious of Ollie. That's because they're protective over Dee-Dee. "And I'll say that not everything is as it seems, but not necessarily in a bad way! They're going to be really excited about whether that goes and who Ollie is, as they get to know him…" View full article
